Once you have had your free inspection, we will let you whether or not damage is present. If there is damage, it is important for you to reach out to your insurance company to get a claim started as soon as possible. Be prepared to tell your claim representative about the storm that cuased the damage and that you had Powerhouse Roofing evaluate the damage.

Once your claim has been filed an insurance adjuster will come to verify damages. It is important you have a professional on your side, so a specialist from the Powerhouse team will be present the day the adjuster arrives. At times, adjusters can miss items or undervalue the damages. We will make sure you are covered completely.

After the adjuster has been to your home the insurance carrier will send an initial estimate based off the adjusters assessment. It is important to review the assessment and verify all damages are covered correctly. If everything checks out we will commence with repairs. In the event items are missing or undervalued we will communicate with your carrier to help you gte the best results.

You can expect to get a check from your insurance company around the same time as you get your claim summary. (generally in 2-4 weeks). Often times, your mortgage company will also be on the check so you will need to reach out to them to get it endorsed.

Once you have your check it is time to get the damages to your home fixed! Depending on what needs to be fixed we can often have projects finished in as soon as one day! Communication is key though, so we will always keep you up to date with the progress of your project.

After all work is completed we will submit all documentation to your insurance carrier so they can release any remaining funds to cover repairs. If there are remaining funds to be dispersed to you, you can expect to get them within 1 month from the time documentation is submitted.
